General Color: Red/Golden/Orange/Chestnut with White
UPDATE: Kayla has been with us for a few months now and it's amazing to see her tranformation. She came to DAAWGS with no manners and no idea, really, how to be a dog. Now, after receiving some love and attention, Kayla has turned out to be just a wonderful companion. She is very sweet and loving and VERY smart - she watches you intently for direction on what to do next. She would be an excellent candidate for advanced obedience or agility!
Kayla is a lovely 18 month old girl who ended up in rescue because her family could no longer care for her. Her mommy is boxer/amstaff mix, we're not sure about daddy - but we're guessing some small breed, like a Spitz or Shiba because Kayla is just a little thing - less than 35 lbs. She is house broken and working on her crate training, as well as learning to walk nicely on a leash. She knows sit, stay and is a champ at recall! What more could a new family ask for? She is almost completely trained and just needs a new family who will continue working on what she has already learned. She is SOOOOOO SWEET and would be a perfect addition to any family (SHE LOVES CHILDREN). She has a wonderful temperament and just adores cuddling on the couch watching TV or going for a run with her person. Kayla is still a puppy at heart and plays a little too rough for kitties, so a home with no cats or small furries is a must for this wonderful girl. If you are interested in offering Kayla a second chance and giving her the home and family she so deserves, please complete an application on our website, www.daawgs.org.
